I love this song. It's got a bit of the dramatic goth-y flair but it's more subtle than later material. Cool bass presence too. Awesome track

I promised myself to not buy digital stuff anymore because I just wanna collect CDs and it’s money waste but damn, that song blew my expectations completely away.

about
This is an old track from pre-Këkht Aräkh era, when the project was named Yokai. The song was recorded in 2015 and released only 7 years after, on a compilation “Domains of the Deceased” by Livor Mortis.
The lyrics to the song were written by my friend, as my knowledge of English back then was too poor to write any. They were inspired by Japanese folklore and history.
Home-made, unintentionally raw and sloppy, with lyrics full of grammar and spelling mistakes — this is what the project was like in its early days.
The track is available on the major streaming platforms.
lyrics
Mountain, which gives immortality
Took life away again
Spewed out liquid flame of gods
Knows no pity and shame
Death gifts life to the death
By sculpting unconscious freak
Black mockery of Amaterasu
Antagonism to Fujiyama’s peak
River of time flows down, away
Nature healing scars of its schizophrenia
This child of death fills up with life
Life of pathology of Aokigahara
Prays of old man, woman and child
Are so void in front of a drought
Which starts final countdown of their old life
Hunger erases entire villages off
Last hope of poor cripple
His only wish to live
Shall be trampled by new war
Realized daimyo's will
The cart of peasant's life's
Last ride awaits outside
Do family bonds have price
Lower than a bag of rice
Encumbrance's humility or cry
Are answers on question of time
But what is the sense of all of this
Dark forest
Which towards
No difference sees
It is last home of him
Near crook half-dead roots
Ghoulish slender trees inviting
To the satiated by wails woods
Sunshine was never seen out of here
Light rays drowning in sepulchral fog
It's no way out
Forest has no borders
Foliage noise dissolves every moan
Spreading branches intertwining chaotically
So do the thoughts of condemned
Fear crushes all attempts of humility
Suffering binds legs by torment
Hope will never outlast its owner
Ice doesn’t melt, no bottom have divided
Oh, screams, cries and squeals of morbid
Like an orchestra performing a lullaby
Breathing will come to an end
Emotions will leave your heart
Only lifeless body shall remain
No one can your dream interrupt
Part
Part with your mind and life
Nobody
Needs you
No one
No one
It is only tribute to Yureis
Which restlessly haunting in the night
By trails
Between eerly howls of wind
From the heart of Blue Valley
Where no one can hide

Some of the best raw black metal I’ve heard in a while. So many infectious riffs it’s absurd. Easily my favorite release from lamp of Murmuur. HyperboreanFrost
